The Monsters of Mulberry Street

Pre-alpha version of my adventure module that im working on for the Eureka game jam. Making this page will force me to commit to finish it.

Mulberry Street is an ordinary, run-of-the-mill, upper-middle class cul-de-sac nestled deep in suburbia. Lawns are kept tidy, hedges are kept trim, and kids are kept quiet. Nothing is ever out of place on Mulberry Street.

Until one day, the phone rings from an unknown caller. Everyone's phone rings from an unknown caller, each with its own cryptic message. Before anyone can ask, the line cuts, and with it, all power in the neighborhood. No light will turn on, no car will start, no radio will so much as give static. The members of this slice of suburbia are plunged into total isolation from the rest of the world, and someone, anyone, must be to blame.

The investigators are members of the community with their heads (hopefully) on tighter than the others. Sort between which anomalies are nothing more than human error, and which could never be just human. Restore the power, and restore the semblance of order. Uncover the mystery of those cryptic messages, and uncover what else lies buried beneath the astroturf. If the neighbors don't get answers soon, they'll surely make up their own.
